On Powdery Snowy Poland

The town in Jelenia Gora County in the south-west part of Poland has a well-known ski-resort called Szklarska Poreba. Mainly you can do mountain hiking, skiing, and cycling. In the valley of the Kamienna, this is really a budget alternative to the Alps. It has both Alpine and Nordic skiing facilities. Szklarska Poreba is just between Jizera Mountains and the Karkonosze Mountains. It is 1900 feet above the sea level. The maximum vertical is 652 metres and the highest lift is 1362 metres high. You can directly access to five individual pistes, totally there are eight ski lifts. In each hour, the uplift capacity is 2600 skiers or snowboarders. This is a great place especially for beginner skiers. There are also opportunties for snowboarding.

Sudenten Mountains with Panoramic Views

Rock formations, Bear’s Cave, waterfalls of Karkonosze are all amazing and fascinating sights you can find in the Sudenten Mountains. There are three waterfalls, the Szklarka, the Wilczki and the Kamienczyk. The Kaczawskie Mountains is a well-known for its availability of ornamental and semiprecious stones. If you are a mineral collector, you will find the opal, agate, lydite, chrysoprasm, nephrite and rock crystal an amazement. Fairytale like place with enchanting castles can be found too. There is the Czocha near Sucha, Bolkow and also the Grodno in Zagorze Slaskie. People who like to see churches are also well taken care here with the Chapel of Sculls and the Strzegom basilica. There is the Klodzko and the Ladek Zdroj as well as the Karpacz and the Kamienna Gora for hikers to use as a base planning for their mountain thrill at the Sudenten Mountain.

For someone who really enjoys and looking forward to active toursim, Sudetens is really the most suitable destination. It has high peaks of up to 1600 meters and caves snd rocks at Karpacz great for rocker climbers. Cave explorers can also check out the Krucze Skaly, even Crow’s Rocks is a good practicing ground. In winter, Szklarska Poreba or Karpacz are great for mountain climbing. If you can kayak, you can try kayaking down the mountain streams. In late spring is the best time to check out the River Bobr. Almost all the seasons has its wonderful side include the autumn where the landscapes in the countryside are so breathtaking and picturesque. This place also offers a lot for health tourism.
