Gda?sk is on the Baltic coast and it is a well-known destination. Sopot is a seaside town and the Sopot Promenade has a wide sandy beach on both sides of the pier. It is on the southern coast of the Baltic Sea in northern Poland. It is also a major health-spa and tourist resort destination with the longest wodden pier in Europe. This city is famous for its Sopot International Song Festival. And when you are there, you should check out the fountain of bromide spring water called the “inhalation mushroom” or the Fontanna Grzybek at the Kaczynscy Park. It is a slow flowing fountain shaped like a mushroom. Water flows over from the top surfaces and spreads out in sheets and produces a mist of fine spray. It is health-giving water of curative Sopot brine. So if you inhale the spray, it is known to be beneficial for respiratory conditions as a cure and prevention.
